Greetings from Door County,

Hope you all had a blessed Christmas and wonderful New Year!

Recently Steve and I traveled from the cold of Door County to the SNOW and cold of Pennsylvania/Washington DC. We arrived in Lancaster, PA just before they had 24" of the white stuff dumped on them and just 6 days later they had another 12". We were certainly prepared for it but did not expect that we would be part of experiencing record snowfalls. We spent our time there attending the North American Farmers Direct Marketing Association conference (NAFDMA). We toured several markets of our fellow peers and businesses that pertain to farmers and direct marketing. We found the whole conference very informative and got several ideas to try to incorporate into our farm market business. It´s always great to come together to share ideas of every aspect of farming and marketing with people just like ourselves. We hope to be able to have some of those ideas put into practice when you visit us this year, whether it is new food products, new gift items or new entertainment.

In the next couple months we will be working very hard to get our market ready with a fresh new look for the 2010 year.
