Greetings from Door County,

January 12th in Door County and still no snow!! Although today the forecast is for about 4 inches of the white stuff. Right now, nothing yet!!

January is the time for us at Wood Orchard to reflect back on 2011. We get our heads together and talk about the things that worked and those that may not have been so popular. But best of all it's time for us to look to 2012 with our eyes wide open to get new ideas and products!! We've got some things in the works already but hope to find more. We are always searching for great new gift ideas and food products that will delight all of you. Next week Steve and I will be going to Chicago for a buying trip. It's always exciting to go to the "big" city, but after a week of shopping we are ALWAYS glad to come home to Door County!!

Our Apple Store in Green Bay will be closing soon for the season. Right now we still have Honeycrisp, McIntosh and Cortland apples available, along with our most popular market items. The store should be open through the end of January but call (920-499-6671) ahead if you are traveling any distance to make sure we are open for business.

As always you can shop online at www.woodorchard.com and we really appreciate all of you "liking" us on facebook. We still have a distance to go to get to our 2000 "like" goal. When we reach the 2000 NEW "likes" we will be giving away 4-$50 gift certificates that can be used at the market for any items. Suggest us to your friends or family to help us reach that goal and you might be a winner!
